Job Skills / Requirements

LACOSTA is hiring a dependable General Cleaner to join our team in Mount Prospect, IL . This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and well maintained.

This location is conveniently accessible by local bus routes.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, plus one weekend day or rotating weekends

1st Shift: 6:30 AM-2:00 PMApproximately 7 hours per day

Pay: $17.00 per hour Paid weekly every Friday

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine indoor and outdoor facility cleaning
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Empty interior and exterior trash containers
• Pick up litter and debris from parking lots and outdoor areas
• Clean parking garages and stairwells
• Wash windows and other glass surfaces
• Maintain clean and safe common areas
• Work outdoors as needed in varying weather conditions

Requirements

• Must successfully complete required background check and drug screening
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Ability to independently lift up to 40 pounds
• Must follow all site safety and PPE requirements
• Required attire includes a LACOSTA shirt, safety glasses, safety vest, steel-toed shoes or boots, and long pants
• Jewelry and accessories must be removed while working
